So today I found my juvenile ornate pacman frog, Whopperjaw, upside down in his bowl. He was injured (I'm assuming injured, as he came to me that way) as a little guy and has one foot a tad shorter than the other, plus what looks like mild scoliosis, which makes him prone to flipping himself and having trouble getting back up. He's otherwise healthy and a good eater, since they don't move much anyway.
But now I'm super worried! What if I hadn't found him fast enough? Does anyone have suggestions for providing water without also giving him a handy place to drown himself? Could I remove the bowl entirely and give him a daily soak instead? He lives on a foam insert with little burrows in it and that holds water really well, so it stays nice and humid even without the bowl.
