Feeding My Frog

I got a Pacman Frog about a month ago and he is awesome. There's just one problem, he will not eat unless he is in his cage. I've read many opinions and and some say it is okay and others say not to as he could eat the substrate. Should I keep trying or should i let him eat in his cage?

Hello, if you can get him to eat from tongs in my opinion this is the best way to feed these guys. You don't have to stress him by moving him and this way you know he's getting his vitamins before the feeder rubs them off.
