Firebelly toad plants question

So I'm making a firebelly toads tank and I was wondering what plants would be the best for them. My biggest concern is what plants for the water area. The water is going to be about 6 inches deep with rocks, branches and some shallower parts so they can relax in, but I was just wondering what plants could live in the water area. Suggestions would be appreciated!

well, i chose the easy way with plants in my tank. i threw in some elodea.

it's not rooted, it just floats around. the frogs raft on it.
