Thread: is it normal for toads to not be very active?

    Unhappy is it normal for toads to not be very active?

    my toady just sits in a spot for hours and hours not moving or doing anything but staring with his eyes half closed. i will leave the room and come back later and his spot will have changed but he will still just be staring off into who knows what. is that normal?? what a lazy little guy : P

    Frogs are coldblooded animals so often they just sit there staring. For hours. But there should be some moving, hopping, digging from your toad occasionally. The fact that your lump's position has changed while you were gone is a good thing.
