Hey, so I have been wanting to decorate my Fire-Bellied toad tank with some plants and I heard of other owners using live plants. I would like to know what plants I can safely use for my Fire-Bellies to make a more natural and tropical sort of habitat. My tank is a 20 gallon long but I am hoping to upgrade that sometime in the future. I am looking for something that is not very tall but more vine-like and sturdy. Any suggestions?
So far I've used pothos/Devil's Ivy(various varieties)[Epipremnum Aureum], Weeping Fig[Ficus Benjamina], and an unidentified succulent. Pothos sounds right up your alley, Vine-like, low light needed, but thrives with more, spreads fast and is hardy. You may even have to cut it back sometimes. I like the marble queen variety myself, but you can't go wrong with classic golden pothos.
Okay thank you!
