We will probably be vending at the San Antonio Expo, so they will be on the table at that time. We have not yet applied for shipping licenses, so they will go to local folks or folks buying at the shows. We will be holding back a few as well.
Pardon my ignorance but why would you need a shipping license for frogs?

I just assumed they would fall under the Reptiles and/or animals in general.
The truth of the matter is, I get all weirded out at the thought of packing & then shipping off animals we bred & raised........I know, silly and I have to get over it.......let me take Baby-Steps Darnit!!!
That is so cool!!!
That's awesome!! I'll take an albino! lol![]()
I don't know if that law applies to non-native amphibians but I think you're right that there is something in Texas about this.
I started breeding dart frogs a few months ago and I've been selling the youngsters through shipping. I've shipped all over the country, even in 100+ F weather and had no problems. If you do it right it's easy. I have two shipments going out tomorrow. And you have the added comfort of knowing that the person on the other end really wants the frogs and isn't some random impulse buyer at a show.
