Default Nightcrawlers came in blue paper OK for Pacman?

I bought a container of nightcrawlers from Walmart. They are 'The Bait Connection' brand as that is all they had. They came with bright blue paper as substrate. Are these still OK to use?
If I rinse all worms and place them in organic soil, would they then be OK to use?
Has anyone bought nightcrawlers that came in paper?
I am just nervous the paper has a toxin of some sort that may hurt the frog even if I do leave them in dirt a few days. Please share opinions and experiences.

    Thank you!

I'm not sure if the paper is fine or not, but if you're worried I would just stick them in some clean dirt for a couple of days as you suggested. I doubt it'll do much once its flushed from their systems. I suspect that as far as toxins if the worms survive it fine the frogs won't be too hurt by it.
