Hi everyone I was just given this poor African dwarf frog from a coworker who was let go. He lives in this small 6inX4in box and has never had his water changedI have a 10gal aquarium at home with 2 other ADF's in it. My question (and worry) is this little guy being so old and never seeing or knowing anything but his box be so shocked to get in a real tank that he will just die.
Does anyone have any thoughts on what I should do?
Cheers!
Scott
Hi Scott and welcome to Frog Forum
The first thing you need to do is to get the frog in an aquarium. These frogs demand clean water for them to thrive. Since you already have two in your 10 gallon tank, it shouldn't be a problem to add one more. You may want to monitor the behavior of the frogs periodically to see if there any behavior changes. I don't think age will be a factor. Good luck!
