Default White's Tree Frog eye problem?

I've noticed a small white splotch on the side of my frog's eye. I'm not sure if it's an injury or an infection, or even just a bit of shed skin that he hasn't figured out how to wipe away, but it's been a couple weeks and I'd like to figure out what's going on.

He has something similar on the other eye, but it's a lot smaller and barely noticeable.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I've heard of frogs getting cloudy spots from very fatty diets. I think sometimes frogs just get cataracts like humans do too. How old is your frog? That doesn't look like a cataract, though, it's in one spot rather than all over.

What do you feed your frog and do you add any supplements?

He's about 8 years old. I've fed him crickets his whole life (gut-loaded with this stuff).

I agree it doesn't seem like cataracts or, well, any other frog eye problem I've googled.

In that case I'm stumped. I'd say it looked like an injury but the odds of getting injured in both eyes at once aren't good.

Well, thanks for your help. I guess I'll assume it's an injury unless it gets worse or someone else thinks it's something different.

Is there anything I can do to help him heal?

Other than making sure he's getting enough vitamin A or taking him to a vet who knows reptiles, I don't know of anything else to do.
