Hello,
It's been about forever since I last visited the forum. I moved to Hawaii for work about a year ago and had to give my frogs away as they are illegal to import to HI. I managed to find homes for all of them with friends and family and now I'm planning my move back to the mainland. Some of my froggies will be coming back to live with me, others are staying with my friends as they've gotten attached.
I'm wondering what my options are for getting 6 African Clawed Frogs and 1 large male African Bullfrog from New Jersey to Idaho.
I know that Fedex/UPS is an option as some of the clawed frogs were shipped to me that way. I suppose airline cargo may be another option. Sneaking them on the moving truck?
Does anyone have experience that they can share?
How would I prep them for transport? What materials should I use? I realize that most people may not be willing to move with their frogs, but it's really important to me that I keep them. Pets are family. Steve the ACF is almost 12 years old and Kevin the ABF is my baby. I'll probably be sending them in September or October so temperatures should be as safe as possible.
Thanks!
Sam
