New to forum and frogs!

Hello there! I recently have become very fond of frogs and have been considering owning a couple, so this forum seemed wonderful! I've only looked around a little bit, but for the most part, everyone seems helpful and nice.

Also, before I post a thread about it, does anyone know what the ideal tank size for 2 Green Treefrogs would be? I've heard 10-gallon, 20-gallon column, and others, so I'm just unsure...

Hey welcome to the forum!

For US green tree frogs many recommend 10-gallons, but this is just too small. I wouldn't go below a 20-gallon high. Despite their small size, at night they come quite active and like to explore the tank. An exo terra terrarium that measures 18 x 18 x 24" is well suited for a small group. Very easy species to care for and enjoyable at night to watch with blue LEDs night lights.

Speaking from experience, the fish tanks make tough and awkward cleaning/feeding.

We are working on a "name brand" frog enclosure right now. Have most of the supplies. But just from looking at it sit there, I can tell that it will be a lot easier to just pop open a door and sneak in some food for them. They certainly aren't cheap to set up, though. About the only con so far. (but it's for the friends!!)
