My new male pixie frog hasn't eaten for a week and a half. He ate the first day I got him and has refused to eat ever since. He has seen peed but he hasn't pooped. What's wrong with him?
Well, you haven't provided enough information for any one to hazard a guess. I do not know all that much about Pyxicephalus to know if your frog is exhibiting normal behavior.
Not much to go on there.

It just scares me that he hasn't eaten for almost 2 weeks when the guy I got him from said he was eating every 2-3 days.
Try offering him different foods. Superworms are a never-fail food in my experience when it comes to these guys.

I tried feeding crickets, night crawlers, and mice, but I haven't tried feeding him superworms, but I doubt he'll eat superworms. Every time I try to feed him he just closes his eyes and puts his head down.
How is his colouring? Are his eyes bright? Is he alert to what is going on around him? If everything is looking good, I really wouldn't worry. These frogs, in the wild, can go for weeks without eating. My one male, Kadesh, is currently on his second week and is doing the same as yours: closing his eyes, turning his face away, or rotating his whole body away from the food. He has some definite love handles, his colour is good, eyes bright, and he puffs up and hisses at me when I disturb him, so I know he's okay, just not interested in food. Good luck.
His coloring is good, his eyes are bright, he puffs up and hisses when I pick him up. He is also peeing. He just isn't interested in eating right now. I will just continue to try and feed him every day. Thanks!
Good news everybody, he finally ate last night! YAY!
That's great. Just needed a bit more time to settle in maybe.
Yea I guess he did, it just scares me when something like that happens.
I am currently going through the same problem, gumba is about a year old now and it seems the older he gets the less he eats. But lately the roaches walking right by him havn't even phased him. But all of your responses made me feel a wee bit better, since he is still active and alert.
