I run an environmental center and we recently acquired two juvenile waxy monkey tree frogs. They passed this weekend and we are now questioning our habitat. XL exo-terra enclosure. Screen top. Plenty of vines and leaves (fake). Water bowl. Ceramic heat lamp (24 hours on) Sunray lamp (8 hours/day on) and this is where we think we went wrong - a heat pad on. Too much heat? The substrate was plantation soil with some moss around for good looks. Please advise as this was very sad for us - our reptiles never pass from poor living conditions - old age yes - but not poor conditions. Thanks!
