I was jokingly saying to family and friends that with the way Finn is morphing, he may be a frog and eating crickets sooner than Poe....well, check out the photos that I took tonight. Poe is first; Finn is second.
On a sad note, Huck, the other tadpole I received with Finn, did not make it. Not sure what happened, but his front legs never did come through and he stopped eating.![]()
Second frog looks like a Leopard frog.

Thanks John! We were thinking Leopard frog too, but we aren't sure whether it's a Northern or a Southern. We were told that the feeder fish the tadpoles came with were shipped from Florida.
Huck we were pretty sure was definitely a Bullfrog. Still upset he didn't make it.....
Im sorry you lost Huck Jace.
Poe looks real good. He's chubbed up nicely.Finn looks great too.
There you go..you got the other species you wanted.![]()
Thanks, Ebony. Huck wasn't doing well the last couple of days; I hope it had nothing to do with what I was doing, which wasn't anything different than what I had done with Poe. He's buried in the back garden with three family degus, so he is in good company.
Poe is being a bit shy in that photo, but he doesn't like the camera. Normally, he is out and about and acting very....well, froggy. I'll be happy when he eats in front of me....I like my frogs chubby!
I am very excited that Finn is a Leopard Frog. I find that species very beautiful, and the sounds they make very amusing. Finn has a very cute face and quite the personality, so I am excited to see him/her grow and mature.
