Default Buffo alvarius back toes and nose

I have a buffo alvarius (Colorado river toad) that I have had about 3-4 months and everything has been going great. He eats good and seems happy. But I noticed today that his toe tips and his brow area above his eyes and a bit on his nose are turning bkack. I am not stranger to snakes and lizards but toads are new to me and i have no clue what this is. Any help is appreciated

what substrate are you using? do you know how old he is?

depending on what I've kept toads in, sometimes their feet can get quite filthy but it usually is absolved with them soaking :O
