Hello FF
Ive kept a 20 gallon (L) for a few years redoing it usually every 6 months to a year, the tank is the same one in this thread
here a couple years back--> http://www.frogforum.net/showthread.php?t=30790 The tank now has an all glass lid for keeping in the humidity, i used to have a screen lid with saran wrap but it started to rust and that isnt any bit good. Ive had limited success with bromeliads but not over long term. The substrate i have is a mix of cocoanut coir, Cyprus mulch, fir bark, charcoal and sphagnum moss. The lighting is a long fluorescent tube, i may switch it in the future for a hood that can have individual lightbulbs. Ive found that the only plant i have had luck with so far is wandering jew, its a bit of a pain that it grows like a weedim thinking that i may have better luck with some emersed aquatics. What plants have people had the best luck with in a "sealed" vivarium?
