Hi
I am getting reed frogs. Once I have kept them for a while I will attempt to breed them. Does anyone have any experience with these beautiful frogs? If you have any tips or information, please help me out. I know the basic care, but im always open to more info.
Thanks
Are you talking about red eye tree frogs?
Thanks for replying. No I am not talking about red eye tree frogs. I am talking about reed frogs, a small species of frog from africa and madagascar that are kind of like tree frogs. They are very new to the pet trade so I am not surprised that you havn't heard of them.
Devin Edmonds has some articles on Blueback reed frogs that can apply for other species http://www.reptilesmagazine.com/Frog...ck-Reed-Frogs/ you can check Josh's frogs as well.

Its not that I havent heard of them but I more address frogs by scientific name as so many 'made up names' for frogs these days. Doing what I do for a living Nomenclature is my fav, but back to the frog in Madagascar I know 2 frogs of top of my head 'Mantella aurantiaca' and 'Dyscophus antongilii' so here we have 2 frogs that are commonly referred to red frogs and from same area hence why its always best practice to use the proper name.
Ahaa last night I was a bit drowsy on morphine the now and seen 'red' not 'reed' my apologies dood
Lol its fine and thanks for replying. I will check out those sites thanks Ryan.
