The bumps on his tibia don't seem to be enlarged, however the coloration/patter suggests an American toad. The only surefire way is to see if his crests touch his paratoid glands, but he appears to be too young and hasn't developed crests yet.

I'm gonna say that you've most likely got an American toad there, but it will be difficult to tell for another year or so.
