Well, Saturday my frogs surprised me by laying....wasn't completely ready
we had been having huge heatwaves, so I had them all together in my larger tank to help keep the temperature stable, but it was still hovering in mid 80*s - - then towards the end of last week we had a series of storms, and I guess they sensed / felt the atmospheric pressure because my male Phantom and female Kirby laid....a few of the eggs were laid on a piece of driftwood, so i moved that into the tank I had planned to use for breeding / rearing and scrapped the rest.
out of the eggs I kept, 10 hatched into tadpoles.
now my question is - - - (finally) - - - they are now over 72 hours old, and some of the tadpoles have a mostly see-through tail, and others have a shadowed line going down their tail...
dad was marbled and mom was albino, but i figured it wouldn't be possible to tell if i had any albinos until they became closer to morphing?
