You're worried about your beloved frog, it's totally normal to panic and be upset! And how is Claude doing? Is he eating? Do you have anymore pictures of him? Let's just hope the red you saw was more pink and just a part of his albino coloration (God knows how many times I've looked at my ACF's and imagined they had at least 50 different diseases).

    Keep us updated!

He's still not wanting to eat anything. I've seen him go down to the bottom of the bucket a few times since I have put him in there, so he can still maintain his buoyancy to a degree. I'm just trying to figure out why his leg got so bad so quick. It looked nothing like this yesterday.

I'm sad to inform everyone, I just got back from the pet store, but I didn't make it back in time. Claude is dead.

I'm so, so sorry for your loss. Are you going to be okay?

I think I'll be alright, assuming I can shake this guilt that I failed as his caretaker. I had him since he was a wee froglet, I was really hoping I would get to raise him to adulthood. The fish tank just isn't the same without him in there.

Sounds like it was red leg, sorry man.

Thanks for your all's concerns and condolences. I gave him a proper burial in the backyard yesterday. I was really bummed out yesterday, more than I thought I would have been. I was pretty attached to the little guy. I can at least find some comfort in knowing that he isn't suffering anymore.
