I'll have to remember those-my daughter will get a kick out of them!

Hannah, I have the following: 2 dogs, 3 cats, 2 Leopard Geckos, 9 Fire Belly toads, 15 Madagascar Hissing Roaches (and counting-several of my females are expecting!), 1 American Bullfrog froglet and 2 American Bullfrog tadpoles, 1 A. avicularia (Pinktoe Tarantula), 1 Pacific Chorus Frog, 3 African Giant Bullfrogs and 3 male Bettas. Did I get everything? I think so. I don't count dust bunnies, but I have a few of those too that are big enough to name!! Lol.

I love Leopard Geckos. I had one when I was in Kindergarten. His name was Sprinkles. I'm thinking about getting another one my senior year because I miss having lizards.

The roaches and tarantula sound cool! I personally love bugs, although I don't like little ones. The larger they are, the less gross they are. I go back and forth on whether I want a tarantula or not. I know I can't have one now, because my mom has placed a ban on anything with less than two legs or more than four.

I remember having tadpoles; how exciting! I just called my pet guy, and it looks like we will be getting another White's Tree Frog tomorrow!

Congrats on the soon to be new addition! You'll have to post some pics when he/she arrives.

I love the Hissers; regular roaches creep me out. I want to get a Praying Mantis someday, too, though they don't live for too long.

I love my geckos, but I have to put them on a diet. My male, Mika, is making me feel super guilty about it, too.

Kamani, my tarantula, is very cool. She is currently munching on a cricket as I type. It's gross, but fascinating. I am just really glad I'm not the cricket right now!!

I will! My mom and I are hoping for a big, fat, turquoise female, but we'll probably fall in love with one of them and take it home even if it is a skinny, jade male. (Mr Hopper! )
I forgot to list my praying Mantis, Wally, that I raised from his cocoon. He was cool. He'd zip around my hand.
    Do your cockroaches actually hiss?
Haha, I had to put my Golden Albino Axolotl on a diet, too, and now he just pouts at the front of the tank. It's really cute.
Do you hold your tarantula? My best friend holds hers ("Charlotte") one her shoulder while she does homework.

I don't see too many White's for sale where I am. But it's on my list of "wants". I just drool over other members for now.

I almost bought a praying mantis a few months ago, but by the time I went back for it, it was sold. I am still kicking myself. Yes, the cockroaches actually hiss. The males more than the females. The boys headbutt each other and hiss to show who is boss. It sounds like kittens, believe it or not.

Yeah, Mika pouts big time. His sister, Afton, is pretty laid back, but even she has rested her chin on her food dish and looks sadly at me on occassion. A mealworm usually cheers her up.

Kamani is pretty docile for a spider, but I only handle her when absolutely necessary, which so far has been once. I love watching her though, and she tolerates my hand being beside her and around her. Only once did she squirt poo at me, but I accidently banged her tank and I startled her. My fault. She got an extra cricket for that while I scrubbed off the poo from the Exo-Terra doors.....

I leave for camp on Saturday, so I think we will just "lay-away" whichever one we like. I think they're awesome pets. My mom likes them, too.
We bought the little cocoons and raised them from babies. We let a bunch of them go, and now they all live in our yard. They're very cool animals.
The cockroaches sound cool, but weird! I like bugs. I think I want a millipede in college. I like the way their little legs feel on my hand.
I went to feed my Axolotls today, and there was some MAJOR pouting. My little Golden hops up on the glass and stares at you if the worm doesn't come fast enough.
They're pretty fragile, right? My friend always yells at me to be super careful when I hold Charlotte. Charlotte seems to love my friend. She readily climbs up onto her as soon as she opens her cage. What else do they eat?

I used to own and breed African Giant millipedes. Actually, I bred them by accident-I sexed one of them wrong and ended up with a lot of babies!! Luckily, they make great pets and are easy to care for.

Yeah, you have to be careful with tarantulas. The bigger they are, the more careful you have to be. Even a small drop can kill them. But, Kamani, being an arboreal is very light and nimble, but skittish at times, which is why I try not to handle her much. So far, the only thing she has eaten is crickets, but I hear they like cockroaches, mealworms, grasshoppers and moths. Mmmm, delicious, no??
