    These larvae are flown into honey bee homes and are dropped right in with the rest of the bee larvae. It's the most natural food for them. Not to say other methods won't work though.

    Bear in mind that the nutritional content of the waxworm doesn't just magically change following metamorphosis. It's still the same insect and will have similar nutritional content. Probably the only advantage to feeding moths vs. larvae is the stimulation the frogs get from hunting moths.
