That's awesome! Would you be interested in writing a care and breeding article for the site? We could sure use one.

We would love to do one. What an honor! The tadpoles are now forming the front legs and are growing in mass! They eat more every day......can't wait to see them emerge and start eating bugs!

We were told when we decided to attempt the breeding that the tadpoles would only eat live foods. We have fed them mosquito larvae which are plentiful down here in Texas, as well as Gulf Coast Tadpoles as far as live foods go. But to be honest, the staple diet has been frozen Bloodworms. They LOVE them!

About the foods, be aware that these guys are notorious for eating each other, particularly as they near metamorphosis.

I keep meaning to take some pics of Jello, but we have been super busy with the tadpoles and a whole bunch of eggs hatching from the incubator. I promise I will get pics and post them up soon!

Yes, we knew from the start that they are cannibalistic.....it's why we have been trying so hard to keep them well fed. But thanks for the advice!

Have you planned how you are going to separate the new froglets? That would be one of my biggest concerns breeding pixies. How the heck can I separate hundreds of frogs and feed and clean them.
