    Thank you! They were both found under a trash can, at a local park. It looked spacious under there, so something told me I should look under it. Sure enough, two toads! It was pretty dry under there, although it was a wooded area. They both have solid white bellies with only one dark patch near the throat.

    Hmm, the bellies description sounds like fowler's, but their coloration screams american to me because I usually think of fowler's as paler and grayish colored. I forget what it is exactly, but they way to tell for sure has to do the number of warts in each patch on their backs, and the shape of the cranial ridges. They could be hybrids too.

    I'm going with Fowler's for both or a possible hybrid. Neither one is pure eastern American.
