    Default Hi All!

    Frogsmile
    Hello! I'm Hannah!
I have an 8 year old White's Tree Frog named Mr. Hopper.

I also have 3 horses, two dogs, a cat, a chinchilla, two Axolotls, a
red-eared slider, three flounders, a dozen pond comets, a shovelnose Lima, mollies, blind
cave tetras, angelfish, bumblebee cats, raphael cats, an upsidedown cat, plecos, a parrot
cichlid, skirted tetras, bettas, White Clouds, silver dollars, a fantail, and some bloodfin
tetras, and I am looking into a few more White's Tree Frogs, and a corn snake, and may or may not be secretly buying a salamander for my mom. I have also had a hedgehog, a Leopard Gecko, a tiger salamander, hermit crabs, puffer fish, fire bellied newts and toads, hamsters, and I used to raise, breed and sell guinea pigs.
I was referred here from Caudata.org, and I love to talk about any and all animals, so feel free to message me.

My goal is to someday get PhD's in entomology and herpetology and be a forensic entomologist.

Oh, I also love smiley faces.

    Have a lovely, animal-filled day.

    Hannah

Hi Hanna, what a lovely introduction
I'll send you a PM about land hermit crabs soon as I've never kept any but they seem quite fascinating and quite cute ()
    All the best, Ken x

    Aw, thanks.
Hermit crabs make WONDERFUL little pets. They are friendly and easy to maintain. Plus, you can decorate shells for them with their names on them.

Thanks everyone! And Ebony, I don't quite have a zoo yet, but I do have three animals that currently reside at my local zoo, so I'm working my way there.

Wow! That's one of the most varied collection of critters I've heard of, but I bet it keeps things fun. Welcome. We have a reef tank, a bunch of dart frogs, some venus flytraps, local treefrogs (females only), a snapping turtle, seven chickens, a pair of parakeets (the female laid her (and our) first egg yesterday - very exciting), and Max - our Boston Terrier. I only wish pear trees grew down here.

Why? So you can finally get that partridge you've always wanted? All because its in the song, doesn't mean you have to have a pear tree for it.

Jim: Thanks, and it most certainly DOES keep things interesting! Almost never a dull moment around here! I completely forgot that I also had a pair of parakeets, and I will be taking my friend's lovebird and cockatiel soon. I love birds. I think once I graduate I'll get an African Grey Parrot.
I love Boston Terriers. I have two Golden Retrievers named Sophie and Newt, which has made quite the splash on the caudate website.
Kurt: Thanks to you, as well. As for the pear tree, the song can easily be manipulated so that you don't even need a partridge. Observe:
"And an Axolotl in a pear tree!"
Except, I have two Axolotls, and I wouldn't want to cause a fight over who gets to be in the pear tree.

No, but they do speak French. And I doubt that the hedgehog would be the one in the tree. I bet the tree frog would claim that position.

True, but being a lover of puns and really bad jokes, it would just give me great satisfaction to have the pear tree. I mostly amuse myself. My co-workers have learned that if they don't at least acknowledge my bad jokes/puns with a groan, I keep repeating it until someone smacks me upside the head.

What do you call a pig with no legs?

    A ground hog.

I'll have to remember those-my daughter will get a kick out of them!

Hannah, I have the following: 2 dogs, 3 cats, 2 Leopard Geckos, 9 Fire Belly toads, 15 Madagascar Hissing Roaches (and counting-several of my females are expecting!), 1 American Bullfrog froglet and 2 American Bullfrog tadpoles, 1 A. avicularia (Pinktoe Tarantula), 1 Pacific Chorus Frog, 3 African Giant Bullfrogs and 3 male Bettas. Did I get everything? I think so. I don't count dust bunnies, but I have a few of those too that are big enough to name!! Lol.
