Hi!
My first post here, yay!
I have finally been allowed to get my first frog! I really wanted a full GABF but the parents drew the line haha.
So I'm planning to get a Dwarf one, and wanted to know from other owners how big of an enclosure they reccomended.
I have a 2ft vivarium already which I'd be happy with while they're young but as it grows would it fully utilise a 3ft vivarium? I know it is the recommended size for the full Giant African Bullfrog but I've found little information for the Dwarf (maybe I'm just not looking in the right places haha)
With the vivarium I'd like to have a water "dish" as such for it to soak and 'swim' in. I have an Exo Terra Medium Flat Faunarium and if I sealed the airholes would that work as a water dish for soaking/'swimming'? It could hold 3-4 inches of water I think.
If you have any other suggestions and tips let me know, I have a decent little budget and won't buy the frog until I have everything ready![]()
TL;DR - what size vivarium for a Dwarf African Bullfrog adult, and what size/depth water dish?
