i have him for 3 months now,he is a picky eater and only eats crickets(thats why he didnt eat)

I'm assuming you don't live in the US? They're illegal here.

Online venders will only ship to where legal. Are you sure they're banned in the entire US or not just the state you're in?

anyway, to the OP: have you treated it for worms? Temperature will also be important, about mid to upper 70sF seems about right.

You're prob right, I don't know much about kane toads other then they destroy the ecosystem in florida and are super duper illegal to keep as pets or order online since they're HUGE pests.

I think it varies by state. Cane toads are not illegal here in Wisconsin, but they could not survive and become invasive here.
