We usually get ours at the Expos we go to when we vend or are just shopping!
Rubber tipped for amphibians is what I would recommend. We use stainless steel and have had no issues with them, but I am wanting to get rubber tipped ones now because some of our frogs are so aggressive when going for the food that they sometimes try to swallow the tongs as well........I don't want any busted lips or teeth!!

I also use stainless steel. I worry about hurting Grif too when he bites at the food item. He's bit down on them pretty good a couple times. Good thing he's had a lot of calcium so he has strong jaw bones. I got mine at Petsmart.

Those are the same kind surgions use to clamp off veins and arteries. Interesting that they use them for feeding amphibs and reptiles.

I got mine from 10" rubber tipped stainless steel tongs from Josh's Frogs. I have ordered from them many times, and besides the great customer service and on time deliveries, they are also a forum sponser. I always support them when I get the chance.

Yeah I would definitely buy the ones from Josh's Frogs, the next ones I get I'm buying from him. I have the standard zoo med 10" stainless steel tongs without the coated tips, I worry too about him biting too hard. The ones from Josh's Frogs seems like the best buy for quality.
