Default Three frog bleeding from nose, please help!

5 days ago I got my first green three frog. Because the company didn't deliver my terrarium on time I was forced to put her in a small aquarium for 4 days. I provided her with a heatlamp set to 28-30°C during the day and 20-25°C during the night. I had no proper way of measuring the humidity of the enclosure but I sprayed it down 2x per day, the new enclosure is now at 70%. She also had a waterbowl and plenty of branches and leaves to hide behind. Today she seemed to be doing fine, she was a little active and in her waterbowl for a little while. But now I'm really worried! When I took her out to place her in her new, bigger terrarium I noticed she was bleeding from her nostril!!! I placed 2 crickets in there with here hoping she would eat them, but she didn't (she hasn't eaten for 5 days now). Could one of the crickets have bit her? I'm really worried because she hasn't been eating and her color isn't too good either. (I'll try to opload some pictures)

ps: I don't know how old she is, i adopted her from a teacher at school and they didn't tell me, i will try to ask once i see them.
pps: I can't seem to figure out how to insert a picture, I hope you can see the pictures via the link below (the first once are her now and the other are her yesterday and the day before)

    Hi

I think your frog might have the case of 'nose rub' when the frog bashes itself too hard on the glass or plastic in the small tank. If you look up on the web or in books you'll probably find a solution on how to treat it, otherwise a trip to the vet may be needed

Hi, if he is bleeding from the nostril I would just wipe the blood and see if it happens again. If it keeps bleeding then yes I would bring him to vet, could have damaged or broken something in the nose area. If its a cut you can treat it with Neosporin without pain reliever, the painreleiver one will kill your frog. AS said its just probably nose rub, if its a cut keeping it clean and the Neosporin should help it heal. Hope he gets better.

Some frogs may off their food for a week or so until they adjust to their new tank but the wound may also cause this, so I would still get it treated to prevent it from becoming very infected

    Unfortunatly she passed away
When i left for school she was hiding behind a plant and when i came back to take her to the vet she was already dead. Her back legg was really dark on the inside so maybe she had an infection? I added pictures off it to the album

Sorry for your loss. Unfortunately greens come mostly wild caught and they can experience these problems. I would get whites tree frogs or a pacman if you plan on getting another frog. These are mostly captive bred and do a lot better. I can't see any photos?

Ohhh.. wait I just seen the link to the pictures. That is a white's tree frog, I thought you meant a USA green tree frog. In that case it's very unfortunate that this has happened, as these are very hardy frogs. Your husbandry was good, as well. I would definitely not let this experience put you off getting another one

The english names are confusing sometimes
I adopted her from a professor at school who is a vet but she got them from a univeristy that used them for tests on habitat so probably something went wrong there.
I'm definitely not letting this discourage me from keeping frogs!

Yeah, it can be but using the latin names can help. The moving about must have stressed the poor frog

    Sorry about your frog's death.
The patchy skin in the pictures makes me think maybe it was some fungal problem. Or it could have been an infection of the leg like you said.

If you do get a new frog, I'd suggest changing the substrate and making sure to sterilize the tank and the things inside before using it again.

I've had those patches sometimes with treefrogs. They've went brown, whilst retaining some patches of green (their normal coloration) but it's been nothing but probably stress from when I've changed something in the tank or if they've been kept a bit too cool or hot
