    Default Possible parasites?

I am a beginner when it comes to raising and keeping frogs so I hope this question doesn't sound too stupid. I know some animals can pass on parasites to their young, is this possible in frogs? I am raising Gray Tree Frog tadpoles (obtained from my sisters pool cover )and am wondering if I need to treat the new frogs for parasites.

Generally there is relatively little significant parasite sharing between parents and tadpoles. The problem is that in a wild pond you have plenty of other sources of parasites. However, coming from a pool cover, I don't think this is an issue for you . So not to worry.
