Well judging by the natural history of these guys, they probably are a heavy burrowing species, and should have a lot of soil to burrow. Look up the climate they come rom, and try to simulate the best climate, as not to warm or cold, just even to keep them on the surface

I have about 4-4.5in of coco fiber in the enclosure I've started setting up. Two plants in diagonal corners, a small fern and pilea. I've read that the females like to burrow in the root system of plants to make a nest for her eggs, so we're testing out how they'll grow.
I'm not too sure about having them grow in coco fiber, but I've read that some people have had some luck with it, so I washed as much of the soil off the root systems as I could and planted them. They're both med-low light plants with minimal moisture required - I'm going off the assumption they'll do fine with the mistings I'll be giving the frogs to keep the enclosure humid and the substrate burrowing-frog-friendly.

I was just coming here to make this same post. They're very appealing frogs but I've never seen any care guides or videos [aside from a few videos in Japanese]
