I've been looking for a forum like this for a long time, and am glad to have finally found it. My name is mike and I have 2 male toads, as well as a male and female bullfrog.I was given two male toads from my cousin who rescued them from a trap, when I first received them I noticed one had a small cut on his leg I applied neosporin to his cut thrice weekly but was warned that open cuts on amphibians very rarely end well without a vet.3 weeks after I received him, he passed. My other male toad has been doing just fine for about a year now and I have also received another male toad that my girl caught in the wild. My bullfrogs are also wild caught, my female is about five inches(legs not included) and my male which I suspect is quite young is only about 3 inches. I only know he is a male because I heard him vocalizing not even two days after I caught him(about a week ago). The other one whitch I have had for 3 to 4 months, I have never heard vocalize and I assume is female because her ears are about the same size as her eyes, however I noticed some little bumps on her hands and feet so I really Dont know anymore, I'll provide pics tm. The reason I'm here is because I'd like to hear some tips about about breeding bullfrogs as far as tank setups or anything else(I also need to know what sex my big bullfrog is) any and all help is appreciated
Hey, hopefully you can find someone that can tell you about bullfrogs in the "true frogs section." Almost certainly people in the Vivarium section can help with tank setup though. Also welcome!
