Smile New to Forum/ Not New to Pacman :)

Hey everyone! I just made a new thread in the introductions section but I thought I would add one here too because this is where I would be spending most of my time on the forum. I currently have a Pacman frog who is anywhere from 2 1/2 - 3 years old. My fiance and I picked him up from a Pet Supplies shop and we were told then that he had been at this store for 6 months. My heart went out to him so we grabbed him (metaphorically) and we have had him for the past 2 years. We honestly aren't sure if it is a male or female but we have named him Thor. I know about the thumb pads and the noise he would make if it were a male but we try to never touch him. He is currently in a 10 gallon tank with eco earth, a water dish, some fake plants and a tiki head hide which he doesn't use lol. His humidity is always between 75 - 85% and temps are the same. He gets sprayed with spring water in the morning and at night (also on a 12 hour light cycle). He did start in a 5 gallon but he has definitely grown and I felt he deserved something larger (even though he only sits in one place). I would say he is about 3 inches in diameter at this point. We have been getting him a dozen crickets every monday, which we use calcium powder on every other week, which he eats throughout the week but now I feel its time to upgrade. My local pet store (which is where I also work) sells the night crawlers and rosy red minnows. I'd like to get him set up with that but how many crawlers/minnows should he get a day? Up to this point he has been eating on his own. I'm mentally prepared to tweezer feed (I do that with my gecko anyway) I just don't want to over feed him.

My only other concern is that he hardly ever poops. Its really random but I would say more often than not its around every 2 weeks. He will bury himself in one spot stay there forever. Poop ( HUUUUUUUGE POOOPS) in that same spot. Then he will sit on top of his substrate until we take out the poop and he will go back to that spot again, until the next pooping. Is this normal? He has done this since we adopted him.

Any help or other advice is appreciated. NOTE: I would really love to post pics for you guys so you can see him and his tank but I cannot get pictures to upload here to save my life!!! Any help with that too?

Hi, welcome to the forum. I also love pacman frogs, I have 3 at the moment. 1 Ornate and 2 Cranwellis, there names are Chomper ( ornate ) Groot ( cranwelli ) and Booger ( Cranwelli ). Groot is a female and the other 2 are males. For the pooping once they are adults they can go from once a week to just a few times a month, My female is the oldest out of the bunch and she only goes a few times a month. I was talking to someone once that knows quite abit about these guys and he had mentioned that being a predator in the frog world that they may hold it as long as possible because once they go they have to move spots because the prey may be able to smell it and know to avoid that spot. So if he is somewhere that the food is abundant that he will hold so he doesn't have to move. He never said it was a forsure thing but more of a thought from observing them over the years. To me it would kind of make sense but again it just a thought.. For the feeding I will give the adult female as many nightcrawlers as she will take once a week.

Oh and I almost forgot, for the pictures you have to upload them to a photo hosting site like photobucket or something similar and copy and paste the link or picture to your thread from there.

Aaaah, ok! Thank you! I'll try to upload some pics to Imgur and then bring the links over. Thanks for your help!
