Hi all,
A friend gave us a "Planet Frog" habitat, complete with two itty bitty frogs. I have kept fish (successfully) for years, but frogs are completely out of my comfort zone! I cannot even tell what type they are. One is about an inch; the other is noticeably smaller. They are gray/brown in color and both have a triangular-shaped spot on their heads. If I submit a photo, can you help me identify them and then guide me as to their care requirements? I think I jumped into the deep end on this!
My first concerns are that the habitat seems rather small (I always understock my aquariums) and that I don't know quite what to feed these little guys. My brother's fire belly toads do well on crickets, but can such small frogs eat crickets?
Thanks in advance! As soon as I can figure out what kind of frogs I have, I can read the articles on here.
