So is it okay that when i pick up my frog he's cold?
I have a digital thermometer measuring 85 just when i have the probe inserted just below the surface of the ground
2 heat lamps on all day, usually 2 at night, lately been 1 at night
the height of my enclosure is roughly 10-12 inches, given i have a bout 2-4 inches of terrarium dirt, distance of the heat lamps is 6-8 inches
There is a log that my frog loves to hide under, so I assume the heating lamps just don't heat him when he's under that log, but i get worried.
I have wrapped the whole enclosure in aluminum foil including the underside, but he's still quite cool when I pick him out to eat.
