I adopted a White's Tree Frog with a damaged hind leg. When I got it last week the frog was dark and lethargic and the hind leg was red and bloody. I went to the vet and the frog is now on antibiotics to fight any infection of the wound and I'm cleaning the wound daily with a 0,7% NaCl solution. The frog seems to be doing a lot better: at night it's walking around in the quarantine tank, sometimes soaking (again 0,7% NaCl) but never that long. It doesn't actively hunt, but it is interested in crickets and will eat them if the get to close. I think I'm see if it can be tong fed to get him to eat some more; now it's eating about 1 cricket every other day.

If the frog makes it, I guess he'll be missing his toes, do any of you have experience with this? Will his mobility be ok or impaired?
