Nice looking pacman you got there!!

Looks like a cranwelli, but I am new to the hobby as well.

Quick tip, moss is typically a bad idea for these guys as a substrate. When they eat they sometimes get it lodged in their mouth when capturing prey. This eventually can turn into impaction issues, and then death if they do it a lot. Look into coco fiber. They sell it at petco/petsmart for really cheap, and is the staple substrate for these guys.

O alright. I personally have never heard of that kind of substrate being used on this forum. I would make sure that is a good idea with everyone on here just to make sure you're in good shape ya know? Like I said I'm new to this hobby as well, but I do know that coco fiber is THE way to go with pacs. Good luck!!

James you have a very nice fantacy frog. That's a cross between Ceratophrys Cranwelli and Ceratophrys Cornuta. I love how he/she has. The cranwellies facial pattern with the Cornuta's dorsel patter. Very nice buy.

Thanks very much the people in the shop had no clue about it all they could tell me was it was a pacman ant to feed it crickets. I didnt intend on buying him but when they knew so little I thought it best and to give it good care now I have really fallen for these guys so I hope to add a few more the collection over the summer thanks again

Try LLLreptile.com or bigappleherp.com or reptilesbymack.com these are good websites. Look them up.

Can you put more than one pac man frog in a cage together? Or do they prefer a bachelor pad?

This is an old thread. You will want to keep them separate. They are known to eat each other.
