Hey Everyone,
Wondering if there is anyone here that has bred woodhouse toads consistently?
I would like to give it a try next spring and would like to talk to someone with some experiences either good or bad.
Take Care
Rich
There's a woman selling them on Kingsnake http://market.kingsnake.com/detail.p...122&de=1137365 maybe she can help.
When I go back to the US, I plan on collecting and breeding Fowler's toads, which are a similar species if that is any consolation
Hi, there are no breeders of this species that i know of. All that you see on the market are wild caught. Most seem to do well in captivity though. You still may wanna get fecal test done if you do decide to get a wild caught.
Thanks for the replies.
Kind of confirmed what I thought, that there isn't anyone working with them. Was hoping that maybe someone that had the albinos over the past few years was breeding them and could offer some info.
Xavier - I will be watching for a post about the Fowler's, hope you are back in the States soon.
Daniel - I can confirm that they do well in captivity, have kept them for years and they are very hardy and a fun animal to have around. Just been breeding snakes and never had the time to try and breed the toads.
Thanks again
Rich
