My ornate male has hibernate also from the 1st of January.
I woke him 2 weeks ago by putting a lot of water in substrate and by heating again.
Everything went good.
Hibernation is a part of their life cycle and everything must be done to help our frogs to hibernate in good conditions.

Usually, I start decreasing temperature and humidity beginning of November to help my frog entering in hibernation state.
