Default Hello, new to frog forum and new to amphibian owning! Hope to learn a lot!

    Hello everyone,

I am new to the forum, and excited to have found a place to discuss my interest in frogs and toads! I have 2 chubby frogs and a cane toad; hopefully toads are welcome as well as he is a new member of my little zoo and I'm hoping to learn as much as I can to maximize his happiness. Of coarse, want to maximize my frogs' happiness too, but I'm quite familiar with their care already.

My chubby frogs are Mr. Squish and Snoop Frogg! Hahaha
Still have to name my Cane Toad. He just joined the family yesterday, and I'd like to give him a Victorian or sophisticated name. Open to any suggestions!

Thanks for having me guys, look forward to being a part of the community!

    -Squish

Thank you Jason! Hmm, I appreciate your suggestion. I'll put that one on the list. So far I've come up with Rutherford or Reginald as potential names. Toads come off so modest and wise yet derpy. I love it! I want to find a name that suits that characteristic of them.

I heard Timophy is meant to be masculine and I swear the cane toad I had could beat me at an arm wrestle, they're beasts! I like Rutherford, aha! You'll need to get it a fake moustache and a monocle!

Most of the people find it weird to have a toad or a frog as a pet. But you know what its cool. I often read article reviews online to get different kind of educational ideas as well as I have kept frogs for over 2 years now and I have kept many frogs till now. So happy to see a forum regarding toads and frogs.
