Welcome to the forum. enI'm primarily a gecko person but I do have a trio of red eyed tree frogs, so I visit here as well. I have a bunch of bioactive enclosures and am looking into getting some feigning death blue beetles for the drier ones.

Hello everyone, my name is Matt and I am going to school for Wildlife Biology, and will be persuing a masters in conservation biology. I'm an ornithologist by trade but I am seriously considering focusing on frogs as (unfortunately for frogs) birds aren't facing the mass problems that amphibians are. I am also a member of Mantidforum, and Beetle Forum and have reared both beetles, and mantids. Now I am looking to get into raising frogs in captivity since this will help me professionally, and because I just love frogs and salamanders lol.

Welcome! I think there's an "Other Pets" section if you want to talk about your beetles any time. I know some of us are interested in insects too.
Are you thinking of keeping any particular kind of frog?
Thanks for the welcome ! I'm not positive on which poision dart frog species I will eventually get but for now I am working on a 37g fire-bellied toad enclosure. I think this species is the best for now since the demands are so similar to the mantis species I keep, and they have the same diet so I just need extra food lol.
