These are dry live oak leaf litter that has not been processed in any way. Collected on my property in North. Caroina, pesticide free. Perfect substrate for your poison darts frogs and other natural vivaria. Great substrate for springtails. All hand-picked on a dry day to ensure no bugs, slugs, bird droppings, etc. NOT washed or microwaved.
