Hey guys, I'm moderately experienced with reptiles but new to frogs. I've been thinking of picking up a couple White's tree frogs from Tinley Park this march if there are any, and because I want to make sure they're CB animals they're probably going to have to be juveniles. My concern there is since they can't be sexed at this age, what happens if the pair turn out to both be males? Would they be safe to house together or need to be separated like most reptiles do? If the latter, is it even safe to house two juveniles together in the event they're both male, or would that only be a problem at sexual maturity? I've been doing some light research so far and haven't come across this info - just the usual about being careful their sizes are similar to prevent cannibalism.
