    Default Newbie with New Ornate :)

    Hi everyone! I had a few frogs growing up (Dwarf African Clawed Frogs), but just recently got my first frog in about 13 years! His name is Seymour, and he is a red Ornate Horned Frog. I joined to learn more about a few different species I am interested in keeping in the future, as well as chat with everyone!

    Hey, Welcome to the forum At this stage, I highly recommend the book AVS Chacoan horned frogs, with this guide you will grow a very big and healthy frog and save you a headache from conflicting online information but I've found some articles online written by Frank Indiviglio to be very informative as well. If you have any questions about these frogs, don't hesitate to ask and I'll help as much as I can. Love these guys.

    PS- I know the cave isn't really appropriate....my son INSISTED he needed it until I could put some Pothos in to give him somewhere to hide.
