The first is Dendrobates auratus, the second is Dendrobates tinctorious "Azureus" and the last one is some form of D. tinctorious maybe "Cobalt" or something. They probably shouldn't be kept together, but thats entirely up to you.
Alex
The last one is a D. Tinctorius "Bakhuis". They should definitely not be kept together as they will interbreed and the offspring will then be useless to you haha. Most people in the dart world highly frown on hybrid darts.
The first two frogs do very well in groups OF THEIR OWN KIND and they're very active and bold. They're so much fun to watch. That being said, they should be kept apart fm other species. Inter species breeding (hybridizing) is very frowned upon in the dart frog hobby. Most of the offspring will be born with various defects if they even survive. Many will be born infertile and no one will want the offspring.
Each frog you have there will readily breed often given the proper conditions( temp humidity and good cover). You'll be very happy with them. I am pleading with you, however, not to mix them in a tank. They are indigenous to different areas in South America and aren't going to do well together.
People that do mix species, have a great deal of experience with darts and mix species that come from similar areas in the wild.
Basically, MIXING IS NOT FOR NEW DART OWNERS! Did I mention please don't mix them? Please don't.
welcome to the forum. If you need any advice, please don't hesitate to ask.
Gotcha. I got them all for free. Two babies also about half the size of a dime.

I've been on the forum for a long time. I'm a pacman breeder and am the 2nd largest producer of pacmans in the USA. New to darts though. Lol
I won't keep them together. The one azures pair I have 2 of there babies also. So, 4 of those. Can you mix the babies with adults?

Hi Mike,
The most commonly read advice for the Azureus is they do best in pairs as fighting is common when they are ADULTS.
Looks like you will be needing a few new tanks!
They will do fine in quarantine/type environment ( which is needed anyway ) . Paper towel sub.
I would suggest separating them!providing a quarantine environment for ALL! for at least a month
The auratus will appreciate leaf litter ( boiled first ) to feel safe- as they are very shy!
It's nice to something for you........ for a change
Lynn
