I hardly ever use chemicals, even ones described as safe, as amphibians are so very sensitive. The only time I use them if a frog is sick or to disinfect a tank to use with another frog. I use razors to scrap off poo and anything they leave on the glass. When it comes to a full cleaning I just use warm water. I've read vinegar with the razor blade can be good to take water spots off but not tried it myself.

I use vinegar (and a razor blade if necessary) and I wash it off thoroughly afterwards.
