Hello,
I had four Couch's spadefoot toad I caught at different times. I am down to two, I fear soon only one. The two that I had before we're in the same terrarium , I had them for awhile but they started burrow or eat eventually they shriveled up and passed. That was a at least eight months before now. The remaining two toads that were in separate terrariums I put into one. They were like that for a while no problems. Now whatever happened to the toads before is happening to one of my toads. The other is perfectly healthy so I don't think ita a disease. In order to keep my toad alive I put him in his own terrarium and put 5 inches of topsoil. I also put a heating pad on the side in case he was cold. I don't think he will live but I will do everything in my power to prevent that. I need help with this.

I meant to type that they stopped burrowing and eating, they stopped doing that.
What kind of topsoil do you use?
