    Default Frog Eggs

Is there anything special that needs to be done to frog eggs to ensure that they will hatch? Right now I have a small clutch of Green Frog eggs in a small (about 1/2 gallon) container with 2 inch deep water.

Any estimates on how long it will be before i begin to see tadpoles?

You need more water for starters. Get the eggs into a larger tupperware container filled with dechlorinated water. It also needs adequate oxygenation and removal of ammonia. I would recommend getting an airstone in there (attached to an air pump of course) to aid in both. Keep the temp above 70 degrees or so.

Ok, Thanks. I'll add some more (dechlorinated) water. It's a small clutch of eggs, maybe a dozen or so, and came with some duckweed. Some of them are already wriggling around a bit!

Hopefully I'll have the 10 gallon tank available by this weekend for the brand new tadpoles.
