Does any one know how to make vines? If so please tell
You don't really make homemade vines, you purchase them from reptile stores and they're relatively cheap and last long. I use the exo terra ones and thought at first having read the reviews that they may be bad but they're actually a really good product. Smaller ones are fine for small tree frogs or can be wrapped around the large to create a more vine effect. Large ones are ideal for the larger tree frogs. Much better than branches imo as they do not mold
Not true. Someone, somewhere, i swear it was here. Took nylon rope, wove spagum moss through it, then spread a moss paste(google it, yuck), spread it on the rope with chunks of live moss, and let it grow. Looked friggin UUUUUH-MAAAAAAYZ-ING!
Flybyferns has a good one that she made, I don't have it bookmarked to pull up quickly. I took a bendable vine and wrapped it with a combination of sheet moss, sphagnum moss, and fishing line. It turned out pretty good, but didn't work out well in a ventilated tree frog tank. I notice those tend to be more for dart tanks where high humidity is constantly maintained. If you just want a simple vine, rather than a moss vine, I'm sure you can search instructions or just buy some.

A simple vine can be made as easily as a few pieces of twine or rope bundled, covered in silicone and then covered in dry cocofiber or peat moss.

I stand corrected, never knew people would make them themselves never seen it before but more hassle than paying a 10er. Would look very nice in a natural set up, though!
Ah, sorry, I wasn't trying to correct anyone, just offering advice.
The pre made vines are cool and have their place. But sometimes, the design of a tank kind of eliminates using a pre made vine. When I built my Madagascar tank, I used tubing that I made look like vines to transport the water for the rain system I had built into it. No pre made vine could cut it for that purpose. Besides, a lot of folk like doing crafty things. DIY is fun, sometimes lol

Haha, it's always good to learn new things! Quite a good idea that. I'm terrible at diy, I mean I can put a cabinet together but that's only cos it comes with instructions lol
Depends on the cabinet and who makes it. Those ikea instructions were written by Satan himself, that I am convinced lol
