Hi all. I am proud mother of 2 Albino African Clawed Frogs. One adult male named by my granddaughter, Madison Frogger and a tiny one named Toby. Madison Froggers best friend is a 8.5 inch weather loach. I have tried separating them and neither were happy, so I quit trying. I am in love with these critters. Unfortunately, they are hard to find in my area.
Hi and welcome to Frog Forum! I have been keeping African clawed frogs for many years and really enjoy having them. Yes, they are getting harder to find anywhere. In several states, they are illegal to keep and carriers of the dreaded chytrid fungus - that is known to wipe out several populations of frogs. I have a pair named Claude and Claudette. They are over 20 years old. The clawed frog forum is very active. Feel free to post any questions or ideas you may have.
